the thin blue line

i step a minute outside the office in the semi-basement and i feel the breeze of the aegean sea in my face.
i take a look and i can only see the thin line that brings together heaven and sea. Lord, what a view. And at the corner of my eye i catch the shadow of an eastern cape. Freedom it is, yes, to see nothing more than blue, sky and see. There the mind and spirit are free to travel distances uncountable by logic.
I breathe deeply and continue to work.
A break it is, yes, a break of daily routine.
